I also would have like a choice on the location of the room eg centre of the building rather than the end room which is smaller. Ken H. We really enjoyed our stay at Mantra Mooloolaba. The beautiful Mooloolaba beach is just across the road, and there is a well maintained and extensive walkway fronting the beach. Our apartment was very clean, with good facilities including a balcony which overlooked the beach; a great spot for coffee in the morning and drinks at sunset. I also used the Mantra on-site gym during our stay. The gym had stationary bikes, dumbells, benches and a multi-station weights machine, which was convenient for a straight forward workout during holidays.
The staff at Mantra Mooloolaba were professional, friendly and most helpful. Kim was friendly, informative and prompt in helping to arrange our booking and ensured we had the information we needed to choose the mode of accomodation which best suited us. Well appointed one bedroom ocean view apartment which has been recently refurbished.
Mantra team members that we came across were very friendly and helpful. I was welcomed with smiles. Easy to do. Absolute pleasure with the girl who served me. The ocean view room was great. A little noisy where the main bedroom is to outside the front door at times. But it did not take away from the experience. The spa bath inside the room was great, Althou a little dirty when 1st arrived.
My only little complaint which I have not even brought up was. I asked f pkr a late check out. I left by 11am bit still got charged for the 12pm checkout even thou i was told I would not be unless i preceded to stay after 11am. My cards and swiping out was before 11am.
The facilities are great. Out door pool and spa and indoor hot water pool. The location was right where all the restaurants are and markets. Rock beach straight in front so i didn't have to see everyone walking past, with the main huge white sands beach 2mins or less walk away. I would stay again. Thank you Mantra!.
Rob C. I've stayed before, and I enjoyed it both times. However , I was shocked that mask-wearing wasn't enforced, and the 'two people to a lift' sign often ignored.. As Queensland opens it borders, these measures become much more important. I felt very uncomfortable when unmasked guests got into the lift with me A sign in the foyer just isn't enough, without a staff member politely enforcing it.
We have stayed at the Mantra before for location and locality. The website states Foxtel I could not find it. Is there a trick? The 2 bedroom ocean front apartment was very tired and worn. Mould in the bottom track of shower screen. Mould growth and grout missing in bath area. Carpet throughout very worn, stained and lifting from the floor - a trip hazard. Skirting throughout the apartment scratched and heavily marked.
Blankets in bedroom threadbare and worn. Curtain in master is missing hook on one end. Blind in second room is cheap and doesn't meet the window frame. Average service with check out, no assistance with car park key return.
Carpet was already stained, worn and unsecured throughout the apartment, and in need of replacement. We did not complain, as we were very busy running an event and because we are people who try to find the positives in situations.
It is completely unacceptable to be charged for pre-existing damage, especially without an attempt to communicate with us first. The carpet in this apartment requires replacement, to be safe and clean.
