The University is located in Valdosta, a city of approximately 55, in south-central Georgia. It can easily be reached from three exits of I and is convenient to shopping areas, a variety of restaurants, and movie theaters. The campuses, located less than a mile apart, include more than acres of land. Approximately 10 blocks north is the North Campus, and approximately 4 blocks south is the South Campus. Other units of the University are located in satellite facilities adjacent to the campus and along Patterson Street.
The campuses and principal satellite buildings are connected by the University bus service, operating regularly throughout each class day. VSU believes college education should be accessible for all, which is why we offer undergraduate in-state tuition rates to all our neighboring states. Why wait until graduate school?
